CADagency is delighted to be working with a design an build company who specialise in the hospitality and commercial kitchens sector. Our clients offers services from concept through to completion and pride themselves on being a design lead organisation with in house sales, design, project management and installation teams.
Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for an additional Catering Designer with previous experience in the commercial kitchen / hospitality sector. For this role you will be pulling together everything for the F&B delivery including full spec and support during drawing sign offs for manufacture.
You will be working alongside the commercial led design team. This role will offer a balance between creative exploration and technical delivery drawn detailed justifications.
At the start of a project, you will conduct initial on site measured surveys and create feasibility studies with specific reference to commercial kitchens and the associated operations. You will be client-facing to establish the brief and continuous project development.
You will then work closely with project stake holders to develop an approved layout as well as with specialist third party consultants and suppliers. You will need to analyse and adapt designs based on feedback.
Once a concept is approved you will need to create a full commercial catering installation package including accurate plans, sections, elevations, service plans, service schedules and installation scoping documents.
You will then working with clients and operational staff to negotiate sign off approval and then work with the in-house delivery team to ensure project is delivered on budget and to programme.
For this role, you will need prolific knowledge of catering equipment and a genuine passion for the development of well-considered commercial catering environments. A comprehensive understanding of commercial catering operations and the associated considerations.
Experience using AutoCAD / Revit / Revit Family Building specifically for catering services requirements is required.
Finally, knowledge of building control and regulation implementation with specific reference to commercial catering environments and relevant EHO and Food Standards practices with regards to commercial catering design.
