CADagency is delighted to be working with a well-established M&E Building Services contractor based in West Byfleet. Specialising in the design and build of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical lighting, power, fire alarms, and security systems, our client provides fully coordinated designs, transitioning MEP consultant drawings from RIBA Stage 4 into RIBA Stage 5 ready for on-site installation. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a skilled MEP Revit CAD Technician to join their team.
As a MEP Revit CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing 2D MEP drawings from consultants or subcontractors’ designs, or from in-house engineer mark-ups. You will also be involved in creating fully coordinated MEP 3D models by combining architectural, structural, and MEP consultant designs. Your role will also include site visits to discuss design issues, conducting site surveys to assess on-site conditions, and participating in team meetings to discuss project progress with the design team.
- Produce 2D MEP drawings based on consultant and subcontractor designs or in-house engineer mark-ups.
- Develop fully coordinated MEP 3D models, combining architectural, structural, and MEP consultant designs.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess on-site conditions and resolve design issues.
- Attend regular team meetings to collaborate with the design team and ensure the smooth progress of projects.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of full-time experience with Revit MEP.
- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and the ability to create detailed and coordinated technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
