CADagency is delighted to be working with a Precision Sheet Metal Engineering firm based in Kirkby. Our client offers a full range of sheet metal design and fabrication services including, CNC Punching, CNC Bending, Break Press, Powder Coating, Welding etc.
Due to on-going high demand, they are looking to take on an experienced Sheet Metal Designer with previous experience using SolidWorks in a manufacturing environment.
You will be the sole Designer working closely with the Production Manager, Sales and Fabricators.
As part of your role, you will produce programmes for the CNC Sheet & Tube Lasers, using Adobe Drawings, DXF Files, Step Files, Samples.
For the Nesting and programming for tubing, you will use Artube and AP100 software. Previous experience is not required but similar programming experience is.
You will ideally have 2-3 years experience in the metal industry and live within a 45 minute commute to Kirkby.
