CADagency is delighted to be working with an established design, manufacturing and installation business specialising in commercial kitchens and foodservice environments. Based in Bradford, our client delivers complete design and build solutions for customers across hospitality, leisure, education and other commercial sectors. Due to continued investment in their design capability, they are looking to recruit a Revit Technician to join their Design & Build team.

As a Revit Technician, you will be responsible for producing coordinated Revit models and technical drawing packages including plans, elevations, service drawings and schedules. You will work closely with experienced designers, Sales and Project Managers to develop practical design solutions that meet project requirements.

The role will involve supporting projects from initial design through to delivery, ensuring drawings and models are accurate, coordinated and produced to a high standard. You will also support the use of Common Data Environments to ensure project information is organised and accessible throughout the design process.

You will work with colleagues across design, sales, estimating, BIM, manufacturing and project delivery, giving you exposure to the full project lifecycle. You will also communicate with clients and other project stakeholders where required to help ensure designs are properly coordinated and delivered efficiently.

Previous commercial kitchen design experience is not essential. Our client will provide structured training in commercial kitchen design, equipment and industry standards, with a long-term development plan aimed at progressing you into a specialist Revit Designer within the team.

Key skills and experience:

  • Practical experience using Autodesk Revit
  • Experience producing technical drawings and coordinated design information
  • AutoCAD experience would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within architecture, interiors, fit-out, construction or a related design environment would be beneficial
  • Commercial kitchen design experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Ability to manage your workload and work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and project teams
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop

This is a permanent, office-based position working from our client’s Bradford office, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.
