CADagency is delighted to be working with a well-established building services contractor operating across commercial and high-end projects in London and the South East. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to appoint an additional CAD Technician to support their design and delivery teams.
This is a CAD-focused role and does not require Revit or BIM experience. The business has a dedicated BIM function based elsewhere, and this position will sit firmly within the CAD team, supporting live projects with accurate and coordinated drawing output.
You will be responsible for producing and updating 2D CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical building services projects. This will include layouts, schematics, builders’ work drawings and coordinated services drawings based on engineer input and project specifications. You will work closely with engineers, project managers and site teams to resolve design queries and ensure drawings remain accurate throughout the project lifecycle. The role will suit someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment and managing multiple live projects.
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
- Strong AutoCAD experience within building services
- Background in mechanical, electrical or public health services drawings
- Experience producing coordinated 2D CAD drawings for construction projects
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and project teams
