With a reputation for delivering high-spec bespoke interiors across the hospitality, retail, and commercial sectors, they offer a full in-house service that includes design, project management, and manufacturing.
We are currently helping them recruit for a Design Project Manager to join their growing design team. This is a mid-level role ideal for someone with 3+ years’ experience in a commercial joinery environment who is looking to take on more responsibility and develop towards running full projects. You’ll be working alongside senior designers and supporting live jobs across the full project cycle, from handover through to manufacture and installation.
This is an office-based role in Leeds with occasional site visits. You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced team where SolidWorks is used exclusively for all drawing work.
- Produce technical drawing packs using SolidWorks for manufacture and installation
- Collaborate with the senior design and project management team to deliver live projects
- Liaise with clients to refine briefs, resolve queries and support the design process
- Carry out site visits to gather accurate measurements and ensure design feasibility
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial joinery design role
- Proficient with SolidWorks (essential – all design is completed using SolidWorks)
- Comfortable interpreting client briefs and producing production-ready drawings
- Previous factory-based CAD experience and awareness of materials and construction methods

Benefits
- £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
- Office-based, Monday to Friday (8:00–16:30 or 8:30–17:00)
