CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading commercial interiors company, specialising in high-end office fit-outs and workplace design solutions. Due to continued growth, we are assisting them in recruiting for a Technical Designer to join their team in Soho.
As a Technical Designer, you will play a key role in managing the technical aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design feasibility, compliance, and contractual alignment. You will work closely with the wider design team, advising on technical challenges and industry regulations, while ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical guidance on multiple commercial interior projects
- Reviewing and advising on contractual obligations and compliance
- Liaising with designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution
- Producing and reviewing detailed technical drawings and construction documentation
- Ensuring designs adhere to building regulations, material specifications, and industry standards
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Strong experience in technical design within the commercial interiors sector
- The ability to manage multiple projects and advise on technical solutions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (or similar design software)
- A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work autonomously
