CADagency is delighted to be working with a dynamic design and build company based in Chelsea, London, seeking a highly motivated individual for a cross-functional role combining CAD design, procurement, and project management. This unique position offers the opportunity to be involved in various aspects of project development, from initial design through procurement to successful project execution.
As a CAD / Procurement / Project Manager, you will use CAD software to develop and modify detailed design plans and schematics. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to fully understand design requirements, incorporating feedback to ensure all designs meet relevant standards and regulations. In addition to CAD responsibilities, you will manage procurement activities, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, preparing and issuing tender documents, and negotiating contracts. You will also oversee project workflows, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Develop and modify detailed design plans and schematics using CAD software, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to incorporate feedback and refine design requirements.
- Manage procurement activities, including supplier identification, bid analysis, and contract negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement processes and decisions.
- Oversee project workflows, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project progression.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in a similar role, combining CAD design, procurement, and project management.
- Proficiency in CAD software, with a strong understanding of design principles. Experience with ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A positive, collaborative attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The role offers a salary of £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with the opportunity to grow and develop within a collaborative and innovative environment.
