CADagency is delighted to be working with a Manchester-based digital construction consultancy that supports clients across the built environment with BIM, information management, coordination, digital transformation and ISO 19650 consultancy. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a BIM Consultant to join their team in Manchester city centre.
As a BIM Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting BIM delivery across multiple live projects, working closely with clients, project teams and external stakeholders. This is a client-facing role where you will help manage BIM processes from project inception through to handover, ensuring accurate information management, model coordination and clear communication across each project.
You will produce and manage BIM documentation including EIRs, BEPs, AIRs and MIDPs, as well as model audit reports, coordination reports and clash detection outputs. You will also lead meetings and workshops with design and construction teams, helping to resolve technical issues and improve project delivery.
The role will also involve supporting digital transformation and ISO 19650 processes. This may include producing workflows, templates and guidance documents, assisting with certification audits and helping clients improve how they manage project information. You will also contribute to internal improvement, research and development, training and the adoption of new digital tools where appropriate.
Skills Required
- Strong Revit skills
- Good understanding of BIM and its benefits within the construction industry
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and UK BIM Framework principles
- Experience producing BIM documentation such as EIRs, BEPs, AIRs or MIDPs
- Experience with model coordination, model auditing or clash detection
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams
- Degree-qualified in a relevant construction, design or technical subject
Experience with Dynamo, Power BI, scripting, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, infrastructure BIM or Building Safety Act requirements would be beneficial, but is not essential.
The role is based in Manchester city centre and offers hybrid working, with one optional day working from home each week subject to approval. The working week is 37.5 hours, with flexible start and finish times.
