CADagency is delighted to be working with a well-established designer, manufacturer and supplier of commercial outdoor furniture, structures and bespoke exterior solutions based in Reading. Our client delivers a full service from concept and design through to installation and aftercare, working on a wide range of projects across the hospitality, leisure and alfresco sectors. Due to continued demand, they are now looking to recruit a 3D Visualiser to join their design team.
As a 3D Visualiser, you will be responsible for producing high-quality planning visuals that support client proposals and live projects, helping to bring outdoor hospitality, leisure and commercial spaces to life. This role will suit someone creative and commercially aware, with strong 3ds Max skills and a good eye for layout, presentation and realistic visual communication.
You will interpret client briefs, space plans and design concepts to create accurate and appealing 3D visuals that clearly communicate layout, atmosphere and product application. Alongside this, you will support the wider design team with layout plans in AutoCAD, with training provided if needed, and assist with presentation material using Affinity and Adobe where required. The role will involve working across a varied range of products and projects, balancing creativity with practicality and ensuring work is delivered accurately and to deadline.
Our client is looking for someone who can work efficiently across multiple projects and adapt to evolving tools and processes, including the use of AI for simpler visual tasks where appropriate. You will need to be confident producing client-facing material that is both visually strong and commercially effective, while also supporting the technical and spatial planning side of the design function.
You should have:
- Strong experience using 3ds Max for 3D visualisation, ideally within commercial interiors, exteriors, hospitality, leisure or space planning projects
- The ability to create high-quality planning visuals with a good understanding of rendering workflows such as Corona or similar alternatives
- A willingness to work with or learn AutoCAD for layout plans and technical space planning support
- Good visual communication skills with a practical, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
