With over 30 years of expertise in temporary cradles, monorails and robotic cleaning systems. Our client is continuing to grow and develop innovative solutions for some of the UK’s most complex buildings.
We are assisting them in recruiting for a Revit Designer to join their in-house technical team. This is a hands-on, design-led role focused on producing and integrating custom access systems into client models using Revit and AutoCAD. You’ll work across a wide range of projects, translating initial concepts into detailed technical documentation and ensuring a high level of accuracy, compliance and coordination throughout.
You’ll be responsible for producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD models of bespoke cradle and monorail systems. Working from company drawings and Revit models. You’ll integrate access system designs into client BIM models, ensuring alignment with architectural and structural layouts. You’ll perform clash detection, prepare construction packs and maintain full design version control. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, project managers and external client teams, ensuring all drawings meet project specifications and safety standards.
Key Requirements
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for 2D and 3D technical modelling
- Experience producing detailed technical drawings within a construction, engineering or manufacturing context
- Familiarity with clash detection tools and BIM coordination processes
- A methodical, detail-driven approach to drawing production and documentation
- Effective communicator, confident liaising across design, production and client teams
- Previous experience designing mechanical or access-related systems would be advantageous
