CADagency is delighted to be working with a multidisciplinary building consultancy with a regional office in Oxford. With a reputation for delivering detailed architectural design across residential, commercial and education sectors, our client is now looking to recruit a Revit Architectural Technician to support their continued growth.
As a Revit Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for developing and producing detailed architectural drawings, plans and specifications using BIM software, primarily Revit, with occasional use of AutoCAD. You will be involved in the preparation of planning and building regulation applications and work closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle of each project. The role will also include producing 3D visualisations, attending site visits and resolving technical issues as they arise.
You will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, sustainability practices and regulatory standards. There will also be elements of procurement, such as coordinating materials, finishes and NBS specifications with the wider project team. In addition, you’ll be expected to maintain accurate documentation and project records throughout the design and delivery process.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, with experience using AutoCAD beneficial
- Familiarity with planning and building regulations, and a solid understanding of UK construction standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across design and consultant teams
- Confidence conducting site surveys, producing technical detailing and resolving design issues
- Ability to manage drawings, project documentation and data in line with internal systems
