CADagency is delighted to be working with a prestigious design and manufacturing company specialising in bespoke kitchens, wardrobes and residential joinery. With an in-house design studio in London and manufacturing facilities based in Milan, they deliver some of London’s largest upcoming residential developments requiring full interior joinery packages.

We are assisting in the recruitment of a Design Manager to join the London design team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the view to extend based on future project wins. The role reports directly to the Head of Design and will involve regular contact with architects, main contractors, site teams and manufacturing counterparts in Italy.

As Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end design coordination of bespoke joinery packages, ensuring accurate detailing, seamless client communication and timely delivery. The work is largely carried out in AutoCAD and Revit, and you’ll be overseeing the transition of designs from concept to production, liaising closely with the Milan factory and UK installation teams.

  • Manage design coordination for kitchen, wardrobe, utility and bespoke joinery packages across multiple apartments
  • Liaise with architects, main contractors and site teams to ensure design compliance and delivery alignment
  • Oversee production detailing in AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy before submission to manufacturing
  • Attend weekly design reviews with the Head of Design, providing updates on project progress
  • Travel to manufacturing sites in Milan and conduct regular site visits in London as needed

Key Requirements

  • Strong background in technical design within the interior joinery or furniture sector
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for detailed design and coordination
  • Experience liaising with both production teams and client-side stakeholders
  • Ability to manage workflow across multiple units in large-scale residential developments
  • Excellent communication, organisation and project tracking skills
