CADagency is delighted to be working with a well-established joinery company based in Nottingham. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Manager to join their team and oversee the successful delivery of joinery projects.
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of manufacturing, from taking projects from sketch stage to production pack stage, ready for the workshop. You will liaise with clients and suppliers, conduct site surveys, and solve creative problems while sourcing materials, products, and ironmongery. You will ensure the workshop always has a supply of completed production packs and assist the team in discussing any project details.
You should have:
- Proven experience in a production management or joinery management role
- Strong knowledge of project management and production processes, including compiling production packs
- Experience in liaising with clients, suppliers, and third parties
- Ability to manage schedules and ensure that the workshop and logistics teams are well-coordinated
- Experience in ordering materials, cutting sheets, and managing logistics for installations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
This role will also require you to support the operations and workshop managers in meeting company objectives and targets, assist in quality control processes, and ensure that installations are properly coordinated with delivery notes and logistics requirements.
