CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist building services consultancy with a growing portfolio of commercial and residential projects across the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a Junior MEP Engineer to support the coordination and design of building services systems across a wide range of schemes.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative design environment. You’ll support MEP engineers and BIM technicians to deliver accurate, coordinated building services models and technical documentation.
You’ll assist in the preparation of coordinated MEP design models and drawings, supporting mechanical, electrical and public health systems across live projects. You’ll work closely with engineers during the design development stage and help maintain project drawing standards and BIM protocols.
- Support MEP modelling and drawing production using Revit MEP
- Assist with the coordination of building services layouts across disciplines
- Respond to mark-ups, coordination issues and design comments
- Maintain project documentation and drawing standards in line with internal protocols
- Work collaboratively with engineers and BIM team during all project phases
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a building services or MEP design role
- Familiarity with Revit MEP (training can be provided)
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Able to attend the Southampton office three days per week
