CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading international furniture and interiors business based in Central London. Our client designs and manufactures high-end bespoke joinery, furniture and interior fit-out solutions for residential and commercial projects. Due to continued workload and growth within their London design team, they are looking to appoint a Revit Technician / BIM Coordinator.
As a Revit Technician / BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed Revit models and technical drawing packages for bespoke joinery and interior projects. You will work across kitchens, wardrobes, wall panelling, doors, office furniture, partitions and other fitted interior elements, taking designs through technical development towards manufacture and installation.
You will work closely with Design Managers, architects, consultants, contractors and manufacturing teams, coordinating your models against architectural, structural and MEP information. The role will involve identifying and resolving clashes, producing detailed drawings and schedules and checking models and drawings before information is issued for manufacture or construction.
You will also support wider BIM coordination across projects, including Revit standards, families and project workflows. Our client uses Common Data Environment platforms including Aconex, Asite and Autodesk Construction Cloud, with additional coordination software such as Navisworks and Revizto used where required.
You will need:
- Strong Revit skills with experience producing detailed technical models and drawings
- Experience within bespoke joinery, furniture, interior fit-out, architectural interiors or a closely related sector
- A good understanding of joinery detailing and manufacturing processes
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- An understanding of BIM workflows, ISO 19650 and Common Data Environments
- Experience with Navisworks, Revizto, Aconex, Asite or Autodesk Construction Cloud would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to coordinate technical information across different disciplines
- Confidence communicating with designers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and manufacturing teams
The position is based in Central London and will initially be office-based during the three-month probation period. Following probation, hybrid working is available with three days in the office and two days working from home.
Salary: £42,000 – £50,000 depending on experience.
Immediate start available.
