CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading company in the UK that specialises in office refurbishment and commercial fit-out services. With a strong presence in the D&B market, they design and deliver award-winning workplaces for clients such as Costa, LinkedIn, Google, and Facebook. Due to the ongoing growth of their team, our client is looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Creative Lead to join their Northern design team, based in either Manchester or Leeds.
As a Creative Lead, you will be responsible for driving the creative vision and ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation across a range of office design projects. You will lead the creative and conceptual stages of projects, collaborate with clients to understand their needs, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional designs. Your role will also involve mentoring and training junior staff, managing multiple projects, and ensuring that all design outputs align with the company’s objectives and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the creative and conceptual stages of design projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment between all stakeholders
- Take the lead in pitching to clients and winning new work, presenting your ideas confidently and persuasively
- Mentor and train junior team members, ensuring high standards in design quality and attention to detail
- Manage your workload effectively, balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
You should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a creative pitch designer role, preferably within the D&B industry
- Strong experience in pitching and winning work, with a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your ability
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office. Procreate, hand sketching, and Enscape experience are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present your ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders
