CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading organisation in the temporary seating and stadia sector. Based in Castle Donington, they deliver large-scale projects across sports, events and entertainment venues. We are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Technician to join their design team.
Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for producing proposal and construction drawings for grandstand structures using customised isometric and 2D templates. This will include plans, elevations, sections and isometric views for a wide range of applications within the temporary seating industry. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the company’s technical component library.
On a day-to-day basis you will be completing drawing requests and amendments using AutoCAD, assisting with the measurement and drawing of new components, and liaising with internal project managers, directors and external customers and suppliers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Previous experience in fabrication design is advantageous but not essential
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
This is a full-time, office-based position in Castle Donington with the opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the temporary seating industry. A competitive salary and benefits package is available depending on experience.
