Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Offsite Modular Building Solutions. They provide innovative construction solutions and unrivalled build quality for both temporary and permanent building applications. We are currently assisting them in recruiting a Design Manager to work closely with the head of design.
For this role you will need good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit with experience in the construction, modular build or other relevant sectors and have a qualification Architecture/Engineering or similar.
The role will mainly see you working on providing technical and design support for all Tender and Firm bid Submissions. You will be guiding and advising the sales team on the correct product solution for each Tender and Firm bid Submission as well as providing quick responses to queries raised by the Sales Team during that period and managing all design deliverables required for the submission.
You will also be required to attend the decision to bid meetings twice weekly to review/comment on whether the enquiry is feasible and suitable for Modular Construction as well as liaising with structural Engineers to provide an assessment on the structural frame and Loadings/foundation proposals for the scope of works and attend client meeting where deign input is required therefore you will need to be confident in portraying a professional image to colleagues, senior employees and client in person and in all communications.
The ability to work well within a team as well as being able to self-manage to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner is essential. You will need a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
