Job description
This client is an innovative civil and structural engineering company based in the North West of England. Since the 1970’s the firm has covered a wide range of expertise, comprising mainly of site investigations, project work, both new build and refurbishment and building inspections and the structural appraisal of existing properties. The company is also generally associated with the development of industrial estates, retail centres, educational complexes, cinemas, medical centres, refurbishment and redevelopment of commercial buildings and investigation works.
Our client is now recruiting for a qualified Structural CAD Technician to join them immediately due to their increased work load. They are looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to work on their own initiative and able to run projects in all aspects from inception to completion. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Structural AutoCAD 2D/3D, timber; steelwork, reinforced concrete and foundations. In addition, knowledge of Revit would be an asset as well as design experience.
