Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a manufacturing company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of Street Furniture, Canopies & Shelters. Due to on-going high demand, they are looking to take on a SolidWorks Designer as part of their excising design team. For this role you will be aiding with the design and development of bespoke products for Steel Canopies and Street Furniture. You will be working to Fabrication/Manufacturing Standards producing detailed new drawings and updating existing ones.
You will be interpreting customers ideas and preparing drawings and 3D models for manufacture. You will then need to liaise with internal staff in the sales and manufacturing teams to ensure an accurate interpretation of the customers’ requirements. You will then need to liaise with Fabricators to maximise potential through production.
For this role, you will need to be experience or qualified with SolidWorks and ideally have a background in the manufacturing sector. Experience working with different materials including steel, aluminium and glass would be highly beneficial.
