Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist manufacturing business based in Dartford. The company designs and fabricates secure door systems and washroom products. Due to continued internal development we are assisting them in recruiting an additional SolidWorks Technician with previous experience in the manufacturing sector.
For this role you will be working on existing and bespoke projects, taking client briefs and creating technical drawings ready for manufacture. Your time will be split between new product development drawings for the new product team and product management drawings and engineering change notices as requested by the engineers.
You will take client briefs based on site surveys and fit existing and bespoke products within the space available. You will be working on large public health sites with multiple room requirements. You will be a motivated self starter who can manage your workload effectively.
You will play a part of a larger engineering department, reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, and work closely with the R&D team. Previous experience in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is essential.
