Job description

CADagency are delighted to be working alongside a leading washroom design company with head offices in Stockport, Manchester. Working mainly with architects and designers, our client prides themselves on modern design trends. Their products are innovative, high quality and of social merit, whether the sinks in a school or the washrooms in an entire office tower.

This is a full-time, permanent role where hybrid/flexible working arrangements are available. You will need to be able to commit to working hours that overlap both US and UK offices, preferably 10:00 – 18:00 GMT.

Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a SolidWorks Designer ideally with a background working in the manufacturing sector. You will be working within the design team and be supporting the marketing and sales teams with technical drawings, product illustrations, and renderings.

For this role you will be creating detailed manufacturing drawings as well as 3D visualisations of all products to assist with marketing and customer understanding, while ensuring you are up to date with all the latest file types clients require and keeping specs up to data and accurate. You will also be required to produce shop drawings for custom projects for approval and manage any revisions needed for shop drawings.

Previous experience with working within a manufacturing design role using SolidWorks as well as the ability to read architectural plans and construction documents would be desirable.

Any experience using Revit and BIM Modules would be highly advantageous.
