Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a design and engineering company based in Southampton. The company designs rigging, pullies and custom parts mainly for the marine sector. They work closely with naval architects, clients and project managers to create technical drawings and 3D models of parts and assemblies.

For this role, as a SolidWorks Designer, you will be working as part of our clients existing design team to create 3D SolidWorks models for bespoke and existing product libraries. Reporting to the Lead Designer, on a daily basis, you will

You will ideally have a background in industrial / technical product design. You will have an excellent understanding of SolidWorks and have used it in a previous role on a daily basis. You do not need a background in Mechanical Design and training can be given with regards to the mechanical elements but an interest is expected.

Any experience with 3D rendering with Rhino would be advantageous but not required.
