Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with an expanding joinery manufacturing and fit-out company based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. They have been operating as a bespoke joinery business for over 20 years with their client base including The Range, Greggs Bakery, Ford Motor Company and Mercure Hotels. They have specialised mainly in bespoke Reception Desks, Catering Counters and Bars.
Due to on-going high demand they are looking to take on an additional full-time, office based SolidWorks Designer.
The office has excellent connections to the motorway as well as bus and train links.
For this role, you will be an experienced SolidWorks Technician, with previous work experience in the manufacturing / fit-out sector. Experience creating production and manufacturing drawings is essential as well as a detail orientated and creative outlook.
Any experience with AutoCAD would be beneficial but not essential.
On a daily basis you will be liaising with members of the sales team to understand client requirements and work of survey and architectural drawings. You will then take the information and create accurate 3D models using SolidWorks which will then be used for visualisation and manufacturing purposes. Once a project has been signed off you will then be required to liaise with the production team to ensure work is carried out as per the requirements.
