Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with an engineering company based in Birmingham. They specialise in the design, manufacturing and installation of gates, barriers, revolving doors and turnstiles for the public facing, leisure, commercial and residential markets.

Due to on-going high demand we are assisting them in recruiting for a SolidWorks Designer with previous experience in the metalwork or manufacturing sectors.

For this role you will be working with both off the shelf and bespoke products and creating 3D environments based on Architectural Drawings to determin the best solution for clients. You will use SolidWorks and Weldments to then create technical manufacturing drawings for the shop floor staff.

You will also provide 3D visulisations to virtualise your ideas and present to clients. You will be working on a wide range of stock designs and styles to be delivered to projects around the UK and world.
