Job description

CADagency are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading design and manufacturing of a wide range of transportation safety products for highways, commercial and industrial sites. They offer a catalogue of barrier systems made from different materials with many applications. For this role, you will be based at their Wolverhampton office and joining their existing design and engineering team.

Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a SolidWorks Design Engineer ideally with a background in the manufacturing design sector. This role will see you creating technical designs of vehicle barriers in SolidWorks. You will also be working to engineering specifications and carrying out FEA calculations and simulations to show the durability of the products. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the right solutions are offered on each project.

You will need a degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering, or related field.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering is preferred. Experience using SolidWorks is essential.
