Job description

CADagency are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of high-performance architectural door hinges and hardware. They offer a wide selection of hinges from high load hinges, sliding door gear and concealed hinges. For this role you will be based in their Hitchin office and joining their existing design team.

Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a SolidWorks Design Engineer ideally with a background in the manufacturing/mechanical design sector. This role will see you creating technical designs of architectural hinges in SolidWorks. You will need a good understanding of quality control of raw materials, tolerances in tooling and in house manufacturing standards.

Experience in manufacturing or mechanical design is preferred. Experience using SolidWorks is essential.
