Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a design, manufacturing and turnkey company specialising in the delivery and installation of manufactured furniture, fixtures and equipment for the retail, leisure and commercial fit out sectors. Our client has been established over 30 years and works closely with companies such as JD sports, M&S, and Primark plus many more.
They work from design through to installation offering a true turnkey solution.
Due to continued high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for an additional SolidWorks CAD Designer to work in their existing technical design team. For this role you will be working under the Design Director and you will be required to produce technical manufacturing drawings using 3d software (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks). You will be consulting with project teams to receive briefs and estimating teams on budgets and then consult with internal production teams and sub-contractors to ensure fit for purpose builds. You will be required to show a willingness to provide support across the full business.
You will be working within the bespoke manufacture sector where no two projects are alike. This can be both exciting and challenging at the same time. You will be required to have effective communication skills and a positive approach with a willingness to learn and progress within the design team.
You will ideally have experience with either Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks as well as AutoCAD. Experience with Microsoft Office is also required.
