Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist solar shading design/installation company based in St. Albans. Due to on-going high demand for their services, we are assisting them in recruiting for an experienced CAD Designer to work as part of their established design team. As a company they offer design driven solutions to architects, developers and landlords, overseeing the complete project from sales, estimating and design through to project management and installation.
The company provides a comprehensive range of standard profiles and bespoke designs to meet their customers requirements. Their product range includes Solar Shading Systems, Louvres, Sliding Shutters, Walkways, Canopies, Balustrading and Architectural Metalwork.
For this role you will have excellent AutoCAD skills as well as 3D Design skills using SolidWorks or Inventor. You will ideally have basic project management skills too as you will be liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are carried out to budget and timescales are kept. Previous experience within the construction industry (Cladding, Curtain walling or Solar Shading) is ideal.
On a regular basis, you will be working on a variety of projects at any one time, which will include all design work carried out using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Occasional site surveys will be required depending on the project and clients requirements.
