Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a well established sheet metal fabricators who specialises in all aspects of sheet metal work and are based in Harlow. They offer a wide range of fabrication services and architectural work designs with onsite manufacturing capabilities.

Due to ongoing high demand we are assisting them in recruiting a Sheet Metal Designer to join their existing manufacturing team who has previous experience in the manufacturing/sheet metal sector to assist their current team based in Harlow. For this role you will need to be confident with all aspects of sheet metal engineering including processes and methods and be able to confidently produce sheet metal parts.

You will be reading/create engineering drawings & 3D models as well as producing sheet metal blanks therefore knowledge of machine tool programming for CNC Punch & 2D Laser is required for this role including creation of part nests with the aid of CAD/CAM.
