Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading Energy Consultancy and Building Services Design Consultancy based in Reading. Established in 2008, they provide energy consultancy and low carbon building design solution services. They provide a combined solution in Energy Compliance, Sustainable Building Design, Energy efficiency products and energy procurement solutions. Due to an increase in demand, the company is looking to further expand into the Rights of Light, Daylight and Sunlight sector. For this role, as a Daylight and Sunlight Modelling Consultant you will have a good grounding in sustainable building design and energy policy/legislation to drive the company’s growth plans. They offer you the potential for you to develop your career further within this interesting and unique organisation.
On a daily basis, you will be creating
- Glint and glare analysis
- Daylight assessments
- Internal and external lux plans/daylight analysis
- Right of light assessments
For this role you are required to have
- Engineering or Environmental Degree qualified
- Good understanding of reading architectural drawings
- Good understanding of Planning policies and industry best practice guidelines
