Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist Property and Construction Consultancy based in Oldham. Their services include Architecture, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Project Management. Due to on-going company growth, we are assisting them in recruiting a Senior Architectural Technician to join their existing design team.

For this role you will be working on multiple projects at any one time on projects vary in size and scale. This will include residential refurbishments, town centre residential conversions, new build residential and commercial developments, healthcare and local authority projects.

You will be producing technical design drawings for RIBA Work Stage 2 to 6 on both new build and refurbishment. As a busy, small business, you will be running numerous jobs simultaneously, producing working drawings/specifications and checking/amending similar work drafted by others. This will also include the production of feasibility study / concept designs as well as planning, building control and construction issue drawings.

As a Senior member of the team you will be attending client and site meetings as well as liaising with contractors, providing technical advice when required.

For this role, you will ideally have worked in a client facing role previously and have the ability to engage with all project stakeholders. You will ideally come from a residential/housing background and having experience with commercial, healthcare and retail is desirable.
