Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working alongside a specialist supplier of cutting-edge healthcare equipment to healthcare professionals, architects and care institutions. Due to on-going high demand we are assisting them in recruiting for a Revit Technician to report to the Head of Design. For this role you will be responsible for the creation of floorplans and producing technical documents for projects and enquiries from the sales and project delivery teams. You will be producing custom solutions which meet the Scope of Work and requirements of the scheme / project. Thoroughly appraise received project documentation to identify risk, opportunity, insufficient information, inadequate or incorrect design and compliance.

You will primarily be working in the Fixtures and Fittings market, space planning of furniture and fixed equipment. Our client is currently working on over 150 projects of various sizes so you will be required to manage and prioritize your time across the different projects to ensure deadlines are met. On a regular basis, you will attend along with the sales representatives or project managers, client and internal meetings.

You will upload drawings onto contractors databases ensuring the documents are properly titled to the contractors standards. All your design work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant building regulations and adhere to the company Integrated Management System processes.

The company use AutoCAD and Revit and you will ideally have experience using both software’s. Previous experience with BIM level 2 would be highly advantageous.

Previous experience in construction, engineering or technical design role is essential.
