Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a specialist fire suppression systems company based in Norfolk. They offer a full turnkey service from design to installation and maintenance. Due to on-going high demand we are assisting them in recruiting a Revit Designer to work as part of their existing design team.

For this role you will be invovled in multiple aspects of a project from creating technical quotations through to designs with CAD and Revit. You will be creating drawings for the installation of water mist fire suppression systems.

The role will see you reading and interpreting construction plans and technical documents, extracting core information, and producing fit-for-purpose designs and a material take-off as requested by the sales department. You will create coordinated and construction ready drawings and ensure design compliance throughout the lifecycle of the project.

You will be working closely with the sales department to generate accurate, high quality CAD drawings
to relevant specifications and approved standards, to be used for the quotation of water mist fire suppression systems for a wide variety of building types and functions and ensure sign-off of designs.

The other main aspect to your role will be estimating. You will generate competitive, reliable cost estimates and material requirements from approved drawings, and accurate costs associated with authorised amendments. You will liaise directly with the client and the sales department on all design concerns against the tender.

Finally, there will attend sites as required and undertake site surveys.
