Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a retail POS and exhibition design and manufacturing company based in Brighouse. Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting a SolidWorks Designer with previous experience in the manufacturing sector ideally with some experience in retail.

For this role, you will be involved in the full life cycle of the products from design briefs, project management as well as following through the manufacturing teams to ensure they are manufactured and built to the correct specification. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with clients, suppliers, sites, customers and heading up site installs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician who already has some retail or exhibition design experience. Strong trainees will also be considered. You’ll work on a wide range of projects, need to be hands on and prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will be key member of a new team, helping to deliver on projects from quotation and client enquiry, to design, build and construction on site. Duties will include:

• Producing layout drawings and calculations using SolidWorks
• Contacting Clients, suppliers, Engineers to discuss design details and drawings
• Updating construction drawings were required
• Liaise with artworkers and production floor to oversee build
• Project coordination, site visits, audits & offsite installs
