Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading digital manufacturer of sustainable homes. Our client is the UK’s only digital manufacturer of custom made homes. Our client design and manufacture their own advanced timber framing system as well as sheet metal products. They own and operate 3axis CNC routers creating the structural timber components that form the chassis.

Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a Production Engineer to join their existing design team and assist production in their growing London based offices. For this role you will be enthusiastic, strategic, good at problem solving and highly technical.

On a daily basis, the role will see you creating complex CNC routed plywood components as well as sheet metal parts. You will be working alongside the lead engineer, production teams, architectural teams. Excellent communication skills are required.

You will be working daily with Autodesk Inventor. Previous experience using either Inventor or SolidWorks is required.

Previous CAD CAM knowledge is highly desirable.

• Data management
• Part generation for production
• Complex parametric component design
• Nesting operations
• Managing suppliers for outsourced metal components
