Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a London based studio specialising in design and manufacture of bespoke lighting and sculpture products. Their products include custom Chandeliers through to Table and Desk Lamps as well as sculptures. They work with many materials including metals like Stainless Steel and Brass and lighting products like LEDs.
Due to on-going high demand they are looking to take on a permanent experienced Production Designer that has experience in industrial or production design and has a desire to specialise in custom lighting.
The role initially will require around 3 days per week but is expected to grow into a full time Design and Production Manager role. For the right candidate that is willing to get involved in different aspects of the company there is the possibility of a full time role from the start.
On a daily basis you will be working with the following software, Rhino, 3ds MAX and Photoshop. You will be designing and drawing up lighting concepts and creating realistic 3D renders with room settings. You will be based in their offices in Shoreditch and will be meeting daily with clients and the Senior Designer.
Previous knowledge of industrial design, engineering and production design either from industry or university is required.
