Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with turnkey construction company who specialise in working on projects in the rail industry from design to completion. This role will be within their electrical design team based in Woolwich office in London. You will be supporting the design manager and design team on multidiscipline design and implementation projects as well as ensuring to meet all CAD and BIM need of the client.

You will be responsible for producing and amending a variety of electrical and communications design drawings. This will include preparing drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, charts including various 3D elevations to support the drawings and equipment layouts. This will extend to collaborating with TfL, London Underground, and external approved suppliers to produce a homogeneous 3D solution.

You will need to have previous experience in working on the following software packages, MicroStation (2D & 3D), ProjectWise and Navigator. You will need to have a good understanding of BIM as well as the proven ability to undertake clash detection.

Knowledge of electrification design processes working within a multiple discipline engineering environment and 3D CCTV modelling within Bentley is desirable but not essential.
