Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a leading manufacturer and exporter of custom designed machinery and handling equipment. The company is industry-leading and renowned for unrivalled build quality. Due to on going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent SolidWorks design skills. You will be joining the companies existing design team who work on off the shelf and full bespoke projects.
The company manufactures and fabricates their products on site as well in house support and worldwide sales.
For this role, you will have previous work experience using SolidWorks for mechanical design projects. Any previous experience in machinery design would be highly advantageous. On a daily basis you will be producing high quality production drawings for both in-house and sub-contract manufacture. You will also, be updating and improving current designs for existing equipment.
A keen eye for detail, with an awareness of manufacturing implications and costs is essential.
You will be a strong communicator and team player as you will be liaising with the company’s sales team and external clients to ensure projects are being carried out as per specifications and within cost.
