Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a manufacturing business specialising in education and sensory products for schools, the NHS and clinics. Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for a CAD Technician to assist the manufacturing team with technical drawings.
This role will see you working with existing 3D models in SketchUp and AutoCAD to create bespoke products based on customer requirements and produce detailed manufacturing drawings.
You will collaborate with the design team to understand and meet project requirements. This will then require you to revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements. As the project develops you will maintain and organise the CAD database and drawing files for easy access and retrieval.
Once drawings are approved, you will communicate with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
There will be regular team meetings and you will provide input on drawings and designs.
Finally, due to the industry requirements, you will ensure all CAD drawings are compliant with health and safety standards.
This is a full time, office based role in our clients Stanton offices. You will need a full drivers licence as public transport links aren’t excellent.
