Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a bespoke furniture design and cabinet making company based in Putney. With over 30 years’ experience in the bespoke cabinet making sector they have developed a team is dedicated to crafting high-quality interior woodwork.
Due to on-going high demand, they are looking to take on a Junior SolidWorks Designer looking to develop their skills within the joinery sector. Our client is currently working with AutoCAD for design and technical drawings but has invested in a SolidWorks and SWOOD licence to further improve their design abilities.
For this role, you will ideally have previous experience using SolidWorks within a manufacturing environment and be able to produce both 3D models and technical drawings including Bills of Materials.
Any previous experience in the joinery sector would be beneficial.
You will be joining a dedicated team with on-site manufacturing capabilities. You will mainly be designing bespoke kitchens, bookcases, alcove units, wardrobes and home offices. All projects are bespoke and you will be working closely with clients and architects to understand project requirements, budgets and timescales. You will play an instrumental part of the business and work closely with the manufacturing staff to ensure projects are carried out as per the specifics.
