Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a British manufacturer who manufacture high-end bespoke furniture. Our client operates in the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors. Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for an experienced Joinery Designer who previous experience in the bespoke joinery sector. Previous experience with loose furniture would also be beneficial. There is also the opportunity to develop Project Management skills and full training can be provided.
You will be working closely with the onsite manufacturing team and an understanding of the manufacturing process and how bespoke joinery items are made would be highly beneficial. Previous hands on joinery skills would be beneficial.
The company use AutoCAD and SolidWorks and previous 2D and 3D design skills are required.
You will will be taking projects from initial client requirements through the design phase, including surveys and liaising with architects to ensure design feasibility. You will then manage the project throughout installation taking a team leader role to ensure your designs are installed correctly on site.
