Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with a joinery manufacturing company specialising in the high-end residential market. Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting a CAD Designer with previous experience in window and door design rather than cabinetry. As part of the role you will also get the opportunity to conduct client surveys to ensure projects are drawn correctly. You will be able to organise and carrying out site measures, drawings, samples and approvals on the projects.
On a daily basis, you will be creating working drawings using AutoCAD. You will be working closely with clients and architects and be expected to attending site meetings to discuss projects.
Once a project has been signed off by the client, you will prepare cutting lists/take-offs where necessary.
For this role you will need a high level of joinery knowledge ideally with shop floor experience. You will be working on multiple projects at once and good project management skills. You will also regularly be liaising with shop floor staff so excellent communication skills are required.
