Job description
CADagency are delighted to be working alongside a bespoke furniture design and manufacturing company based in Nottingham. Operating in the high-end residential and commercial markets no two projects are the same. As a small but rapidly growing business they are looking for forward-thinking designers that want to develop and grow with the business.
Due to on-going high demand they are looking to take on a creative CAD Designer ideally with 3D design skills on a full time / permanent basis. The company uses AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Inventor and are therefore flexible in the software package of your choice. Previous experience in the furniture design and manufacturing sector is required as you will be mostly working independently and expected to create bespoke and detailed drawings.
You will be working closely with the manufacturing team so outstanding communication skills are essential. You will be a central, leading figure in the delivery of complex packages of joinery, you will have necessary skills to coordinate with a variety of third parties, trades and key stake holders to ensure expectations are managed, deadlines are kept and budgets are tracked.
The ability to prioritise tasks in accordance with a delivery programme will be required.
This is an exciting role where no two days are the same. The projects you will be working on are bespoke and individual. You will have a sensitivity to when that extra level of commitment is required, going all out to meet client expectations.
