Job description
Our client is the industry leader in bespoke fireplaces. They have been established over 30 years and boast an impressive range of modern and contemporary fireplaces. With a factory based in Holland they are able to provide complete and comprehensive services ranging from initial design consultations to final production and overseeing installation.
The director currently project manages, designs and liaises with clients and architects. The intention behind this role is to bring another member of staff into the mix to enable the director to free up his time. The role will be a multifaceted and involve training. Success within a year will involve you being able to design bespoke fireplaces in 3D on SketchUp as well as produce manufacturing drawings. There is also a requirement to project manage and site visit. You will be required to travel to site to measure up and manage installation.
This role will be well suited to a graduate who is looking for a role that will enable personal and professional development and really get to see projects from beginning to end. You will be a “go-getter” who is keen on getting stuck into a project and keen on developing.
A suitable degree would be architectural technology or Computer Aided Drafting & Design.
Most of the material you will be working with will be steel.
The working hours will be 08:30 – 17:30 (with flexibility for travel)
