Job description
Our client is a family owned Factory Division, Doorway Solutions and Site Segregation specialist. Within this highly specialised and niche industry they have grown to be a market leader in the field.
Our client has served the construction and manufacturing sectors since the 1970’s and has grown a close knit workforce. Our client prides themselves with strong individual and company ethics as well as opporating with honesty and integrity.
This role is being created to form a new R&D department. Currently projects are being hand sketched and drawn up on rudimental software. The company directors are looking to take on a CAD Technician with experience in the manufacturing industry who will be able to manage their own workload and design products along side their current sales team.
Initially the role will require you to create a library of their products on SolidWorks. Once completed you will be working closely with the surveyors and sales team to create 2D and 3D models based of hand sketches. These drawings will the be passed back to the client to win and sign off projects.
This role would suit a candidate with previous experience in a relevant manufacturing design role as well as having a qualification in Structural Design. The company does not manufacture any of the products but rather offers sales and warehousing of products manufactured elsewhere.
