Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a high-end joinery company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke interior joinery for high end, luxury residential projects based in their Kent office.

Due to on-going high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting an Estimator. For this role you will be preparing and issuing detailed estimates and quotes for the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke furniture, as well as preparing accurate material take offs from CAD drawings and costing accordingly, you must be able to identify/calculate detailed costings for joinery, labour, material, and time requirements purposes by studying proposals, drawings, specifications, and related documents.

You will be supporting clients through the bid and tender process and producing detailed quotes that fulfil tender and customer requirements. You must be confident in liaising with suppliers and be able to submit any variation for approval to ensure all purchasing of materials are the quality products at the best price. As part of your duties you will be required to arrange and attend handover/prestart meetings with internal and external teams.

As an estimator you will ideally have experience in estimating for design, manufacture and installation and have knowledge of joinery design and construction including materials, fabrication and finishing procedures.
