Job description

CADagency is delighted to be working with a British owned electrical engineering company specialising in products for the electricity supply industry including hardware, software and panel building. Due to ongoing high demand, we are assisting them in recruiting for an experienced Electrical CAD Technician, with previous experience in the electrical engineering sector. For this role, you will need a general engineering and a desire to be a part of a small, busy team working with engineers, installation teams and clients.

As part of the role, you will be producing schematic / electrical schematic 2D drawings and work closely with Engineers and other team members. You will need to ensure drawings are accurate, up-to-date and keeping within company procedures. This will require you to understand project requirements to deliver drawings to the required deadlines. You will be using 2D AutoCAD and previous experience is required.

You will ideally have a HNC/HND level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline or relevant AutoCAD course.

Previous experience producing electrical schematic drawings would be ideal.

This is a full time office based role and a full drivers licence is beneficial to enable you to visit sites as and when required.
