Job description
CADagency is delighted to be working with an electrical engineering company based in Birmingham. They specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of electrical projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK and Europe. Their four main sectors are Retail, Commercial, Industrial and Leisure. They work closely with some of the country’s leading building services consultants on all aspects of lighting and power.
Due to on-going high demand, they are looking to take on an Electrical CAD Designer to be based in their Sutton Coldfield offices.
On a daily basis you will be undertaking the following tasks
- Create comprehensive AutoCAD drawings working from existing drawings
- Create layout drawings to assist on site contractors
- Update schematics to initially show design intent requirement for submission to projects
- Update drawings to support review of detail drawings
- Update drawings to show as built and installed
